Designer shopping outlet McAurthurGlen’s Christmas marketing campaign has been created by Clear Marketing.

Clear will create local marketing campaigns for the seven shopping centres across the UK which will be tailored to local audiences.

A TV advert has been created for the York designer outlet promoting a chance to win £14,000 in prizes while a Scottish commercial promotes a competition to win the payment of a person’s mortgage over 2009 up to £12,000.

In addition the two promotions will run across six locations with outdoor, press, radio and POS campaigns to reach McArthurGlen’s core audience base of 24-55 years olds.

The Cheshire Oaks designer outlet has a bespoke campaign to promote an added attraction of ‘Britain’s Biggest Christmas Tree at Britain’s Biggest Designer Outlet’. In addition to press and radio advertising, X Factor winner Shayne Ward will be officially switching on the Christmas Tree lights at an event.

Code Computerlove has been tasked with the digital marketing while offline media will be handled by Carat, and PR activity to support the promotion will be carried out by CityPress in Manchester.
