Following its win at this year’ CIPR North West Pride awards on Wednesday for Outstanding Consultancy of the Year, Manchester based PR agency Koan has been placed into administration.

The agency provided PR for clients such as sustainability specialists Marshalls Plc, McDermott Homes, Children’s Safety Educations, Novelis and David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

It is thought that two members of staff have been made redundant from the firm, although its managing director Elaine Mitchel-Hill is said to be launched a new PR agency called Ethical Comms.
