Design agency 999 has won the contract to rebrand the exclusive Gleneagles Natural Mineral Water bottle, produced by Highland Spring and sold through a select number of leading hotels and restaurants across the UK and overseas.

The Glasgow office of 999 has worked with Highland Spring for five years and was appointed to revamp the identity of Gleneagles Natural Mineral Water and communicate the elegance, style and quality of the brand.

The new-look identity is available throughout the UK and in selected markets in Europe, the Far East and the United States.

Gavin Clark, MD of 999, said: “Gleneagles water is a very elegant brand with an exclusive customer base and 999 is delighted to have worked on such an exciting project.

“Our brief was to develop a new identity worthy of the brand; which is served in some of the best restaurants and hotels across the UK and overseas.

“We wanted to communicate how stylish and refreshing Gleneagles Natural Mineral Water is and our inspiration was the quality of the brand itself, which we have reflected in the stylised lettering that appears in liquid form.”

Richard Beeston, marketing director - development of Highland Spring Ltd, said: “In re-branding Gleneagles our objective was to enhance its premium, sophisticated image and reflect the superior quality of the pure Scottish water and the iconic award winning glass bottle.

The Gleneagles brand is recognised as one of the most stylish bottled waters available for fine dining and we are very pleased with the new creative execution which has been extremely well received by customers and the trade alike”.
