Colman Getty Scotland has appointed a new associate director in the form of arts consultant Fiona Hendry.

Hendry, who sits on the board of Stills Gallery and was recently appointed to the board of the Scottish Book Trust will take up her new role at the PR firm in January following a ‘familiarisation period’.

For over a decade she has actively supported the arts in Scotland, through Arts and Business Scotland, which has involved her in Board advocacy, mentoring individuals and strategic marketing. Hendry has also advised a variety of arts organisations including Edinburgh Book Festival and interactive communications company, 55 Degrees.

She has also headed up the marketing group for Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Scotland and also led its UK Brand team in London.

Dotti Irving, chief executive of Colman Getty, said: “Fiona’s range of experience – arts and the corporate sector – is precisely what we were looking for in our new Associate Director. I look forward to working with her and the rest of the Colman Getty Scotland team on continuing to build the company.”
