Peppermint Digital has been appointed by celebrity chef Simon Rimmer to develop a new website for his Cheshire-based restaurant, Earle.

The new Earle website will feature information about the restuarant, and Rimmer himself, and users will be able to browse image galleries, an events calendar and menus and sign up for exclusive events and offers.

Earle opened in Hale in October 2006 and has since been named Top Celebrity Restaurant in the Observer Food Monthly. Rimmer, the resident chef on BBC 2’s Something For The Weekend, also owns Greens restaurant in Didsbury.

He said: “The internet is often the first place people go for information about eating out, so I felt it was high time that Earle was dragged into the digital age."

Head of digital services at Peppermint Digital, Graham Robinson, added: "Peppermint Digital is relishing the opportunity to work with a chef as widely fêted as Simon Rimmer."

Peppermint Digital, the sister company to Peppermint PR, was launched in April 2008.
