Training company Protocol Skills appoints Origin

Protocol Skills, the privately-owned UK vocational training company, has appointed Origin to handle its branding and brand communications.

The appointment will see the Cheadle-based agency undertake a complete strategic review of the Protocol Skills brand, with a new integrated communications strategy to be launched in 2009.

Karen Jenkins, marketing manager for Protocol Skills, said the company had grown massively in recent years and needed a strong brand in a sector as 'undifferentiated' as training.

Mark Bottomley, design director at Origin, said: "raining isn't a sector renowned for strong brands but the guys at Protocol Skills are bucking the trend at a crucial time."
