Nottingham-based marketing communications company, Lawrence & Pierce, has won the brand development contract for Translink NI, following a tender process and four-way pitch.

Translink NI is the provider of integrated bus, coach and rail serves throughout Northern Ireland. Every year, Translink carry over 75 million passengers and has recently embraced a significant programme of change, successfully enhancing the future development and growth of public transport.

Lawrence & Pierce will work closely with the Translink project team and Millward Browne Ulster Market Research to develop a new brand strategy.

Martin Lord, Lawrence & Pierce’s Managing Director, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Translink NI. We already deliver significant transport marketing projects and we’re familiar with Northern Ireland having carried out work there in the past. This project links our transport marketing and brand development expertise perfectly.”

Norman Maynes, head of business development, for Translink added: “We’re well aware of Lawrence & Pierce’s reputation, as they’ve already delivered for Translink, in terms of credibility and commercial proposition. We’ve seen their artistic and practical flair for livery and interior design, which the general public love. And we’ve been extremely impressed by the brand management work they carry out in the public transport arena.”
