The King's Arms has won its first major advertising project since being appointed to the Imperial War Museum North's creative roster.

The Manchester-based advertising agency has been asked to develop a campaign to promote the museum this autumn.

Outdoor, radio and ambient activity is being planned and the aim of the campaign is to keep the museum front of mind as a free visitor attraction and expand its visitor base in the north west catchment area.

Paul Watson, founder and creative director at The King's Arms, said: ““Imperial War Museum North challenges your perceptions of a war museum. From the architecture to the interactive experience, a day out there is very different from what you may expect.

"We’re delighted to be asked to create this campaign so soon after being appointed to the new roster.”

The Salford Quays-based Imperial War Museum unveiled its latest roster of agencies last month. Along with The King's Arms, Hemisphere, Mark Studio, Wonder Associates, Epigram and Modern Design were also selected.
