Origin, the Cheshire-based creative company, has won the entire account for video game publisher Rising Star Games.

The win includes branding, advertising, web, print collateral and exhibition support.

Rising Star specialise in authentic Japanese video games, mostly for the Nintendo Wii and DS. The company achieved chart success earlier in the year when their revolutionary Nintendo Wii game, No More Heroes, reached number 4 in the UK Wii chart. The appointment comes ahead of a hectic release schedule for the company in early 2009.

Speaking of the win, new business director, Duncan Slater said: “This is a fantastic win for us and the kind of client you dream of. It’s a visually exciting environment to be working in and we’re delighted to add our ideas and experience to a company with such ambition.” The win comes in addition to major work for Superdrug and Thresher earlier in the year and a Silver in the recent Roses Design Awards. Work starts immediately.
