Design consultancy Uniform has collaborated with photographer Mark McNulty and Liverpool University Press to produce a new book documenting McNulty's acclaimed music photography.

For over 20 years, McNutly has been photographing the music scene in Liverpool and its proliferation worldwide. A case bound, hardback book, Pop Cultured: The Music Photography of Mark McNulty, displays shots from his portfolio featuring iconic pop culture figures such as The Who and Arctic Monkeys.

The book, which launched this month, combines McNulty's images with his own laconic words, along with contributions from some of his subjects.

McNulty started out as a jobbing photographer covering events such as the Earthbeat festivals in Liverpool which would witness breakthrough performances from notable artists such as The La's and The Stone Roses.

As well as iconic bands, the book chronicles his shots from legendary nightclub Cream during the Acid House era, as well as featuring current Liverpool talent including The Zutons, Candie Payne and Ladytron.
