The new visual identity for the Newcastle’s Great North Museum rolled out last week, created by Agenda Design Associates.

The £15,000 identity uses an orange coloured arrow pointing north and is intended to emulate simple icons such as that of Apple of Nike.

The based agency was appointed to the project in January by Tyne & Weir Museums following a three way pitch against rival Newcastle agency Sumo and London based Nick Bell Design.

Agenda was briefed with creating a logo, marketing campaign and brand guidelines for the new £26million natural history and archaeology museum.
