Following last month’s announcement that global management firm Barrie & Hibbert had appointed PR firm McLaughling Gibson, The Drum has learned that Edinburgh based marketing agency Hush is also working with the firm.

It is understood that Hush was appointed earlier in the year in a pitch against several London based agencies.

The company is currently undergoing a rebranding exercise with the new positioning set to be launched in the UK and Europe this month before being rolled out globally over the Autumn period.

Sharon Shaw of Barrie & Hibbert explained: “We’ve been working with Hush for a number of months now and it’s great to see everyone’s hard work coming to fruition. Barrie & Hibbert has seen explosive growth over the past year or so and the new work reflects our expansion and standing in the global financial industry. The next stage is to develop a contact strategy with Hush as we continue to spread the word about the services we offer to the financial marketplace. The future looks very exciting for us”

This is the first major client that the agency has been working with since it launched at the beginning of the year, although it is thought that is has also worked with Velux on several projects in that time too.
