The Central Office of Information (COI) is set to establish a new roster of regional agencies to better meet the needs of its clients with regional marketing requirements.

The Regional Integrated Agencies framework will also include agencies that can provide five core services: advertising, direct marketing, design/branding, digital and PR.

This will allow COI’s Regional Client Account Team greater flexibility when providing creative services across the UK. It will also enable COI’s clients to access agencies with regional insight, while taking advantage of COI’s expertise and unrivalled buying power. Currently, the regional marketing teams draw upon existing COI frameworks and a preferred supplier list in each region.

This new framework will enable COI’s clients to access the most appropriate agencies without going through a lengthy procurement process for every contract.

The framework will be managed by COI’s Regional Client Account Team, which has offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Manchester.

Phil Fraser, head of COI Regional Client Account Team said:

"We are seeing an increased demand for our services from clients based outside of London. While COI’s existing frameworks include agencies drawn from across the UK, some clients would like to access agencies with unique insight into regional audiences.

“COI aims is to provide excellent communications solutions to government departments and the public sector that secure value for money. This is truly a fantastic opportunity for regional agencies to help develop and deliver campaigns on issues that affect the lives of every citizen - from health and education to benefits, rights and welfare.”

All suppliers interested in applying for the Regional Integrated Agencies framework should go to www.coi.bravosolution.com and complete the pre-qualification questionnaire by Monday 13 October 2008.

Agencies will be selected through a rigorous procurement process on the basis of their success against the necessary criteria, including proven expertise and experience, quality of service, financial soundness, creativity, and pricing structure.

Questions about the framework can be sent via www.coi.bravosolutions.com and questions and answers relevant to all applicants will be published online. Suppliers should not telephone queries to COI direct.
