The Drum understands that Leeds based digital agency Numiko has been assigned by ITV, the task of building and producing the website for this year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here’ series.

It is thought that the agency is still in the early stages discussing concepts for the site which is likely to include flash based games centred around Bush Tucker trials.

The site will not roll out until the show airs in November on ITV1.

The agency is also working on the website for ITV’s new drama series Britannia High having signed a new contract with the broadcaster as it looks to build on its online and television crossover.

The Britannia High website will feature photo and video blogs, a twitter account, an online radio player and downloadable podcasts with an online streaming facility. A newsletter will also be sent out to those who register.

Darren Navier, new creative director at Numiko told The Drum; "ITV have some great programme brands and a history of trying different media and channels to involve and engage their audiences. I think with Numiko's credentials in creative technology and rich '360 degree content' delivery we could see some great things come out of this relationship."

The agency also works with the BBC having developed sites for The Culture Show and Britain From Above in recent months.

The agency has also picked up four new members of staff from Glue, Agency.com, Jason Stocks-Young and Propaganda, from where Navier joined last week.
