Sumo has announced that it has appointed Anya Bramich to the new role of director of strategy to drive the strategic development of its brand and marketing campaigns.

Previously working as principal communications manager at Tyne & Wear Museums, Bramich has also held marketing positions with the North East, Sunderland Council and Gateshead Council.

The appointment follows Sarah Tempest’s promotion to creative director following five years with the company while David Robinson was promoted to director of digital.

Bramich said; “I’ve worked with Sumo for many years and have always been really impressed with their work and the creativity that they bring to projects. The company has already developed a fantastic reputation within the arts and cultural sector with some very high profile clients and I hope my role will help to build on that. I’m really excited to be joining the team.”
