Bragster.com, the online community described as 'Jackass meets Facebook', has won the inaugural Viral Grand Prix at the 2008 Media Guardian Edinburgh Television Festival.

Bertrand Bodson, co-Founder of Bragster, said: "It takes a lot of balls to create a viral that has any long lasting impact these days so we're very pleased that Crank Juice's performance was recognised by voters as the best viral video."

The Viral Grand Prix was an internet race staged in the three week run-up to the Edinburgh Film festival where entrants tried to secure the most views for an original online video clip.

Bragster.com is the online community for bragging and daring and enables users to challenge each other and to showcase their victory by posting videos.
