Golley Slater wins insurance.co.uk customer acquisition contract

Golley Slater has won the contract to build the customer acquisition strategy for Lloyds TSB's insurance comparison site www.insurance.co.uk.

Golley Slater's Cardiff office secured the contract to develop and implement the communication's and media strategy for www.insurance.co.uk following a competitive tender.

Golley Slater will deliver a combined search approach encompassing paid, natural and social search, said Golley Slater Cardiff managing director, Sion Ashley Jones.

"At the core of the approach will be to deliver on all of the primary objectives of www.insurance.co.uk including raising brand awareness in

a cluttered and competitive marketplace," said Ashley-Jones.

Golley Slater's remit will include the targeting of 'Switchers'.

"Whilst customer retention is hugely important we also need to build the customer acquisition strategy of 'Switchers' and drive high converting traffic to the insurance.co.uk site. Our approach will be to weight our campaign around the car insurance peaks," said Ashley-Jones.
