HGDesign has been working with the Violence Reduction Unit to help combat violence in Glasgow.

The borders-based agency has completed the first in a series of poster campaigns aimed at tackling a number of different elements of violence for the VRU in Glasgow.

Three posters have been designed to be launched shortly in conjunction with Parentline.

Animated versions of the posters have also been produced for the web and for use in multi media presentations, while Stop Violence car stickers and an animated screen saver are other elements of the campaign.

The Violence Reduction Unit has previously worked with HGDesign on its 10-year plan.

The unit approached HGDesign with an idea for the campaign, aiming to get across the fact that the way we talk to our children and the way we behave in front of them, can have an impact on them long term.

The aim of the posters is to encourage parents to seek help when they become frustrated with their kids via Parentline.
