TBWA wins eCRM account for Electronic Arts

Electronic Arts (EA), the US videogames maker, is believed to have appointed TBWA\Manchester to handle its eCRM account following a four-way pitch.

Agency Republic, Grasshopper and WARL are thought to have pitched for EA, which is responsible for games such as The Sims and Medal of Honor.

TBWA's first task will involve harnessing the company's database of customers with an email-based campaign, highlighting future releases and current games. Other online projects may also be handed to the Manchester agency further down the line.
