Laing becomes director of the newly rebranded BD's Glasgow office

Carolyn Laing has been made director of the Glasgow office of the newly rebranded BD Network, now known as BD, while Stephen Pearson, managing director of the office will move to over see the growing direct and data division.

Pearson now becomes group head of direct as he takes charge of the company’s growing data division which also sees three senior strategists join, Rob Innes, Colin McAllister and Nick Price.

Laing will now oversee the running of the Scottish office having rejoined the company at the start of the year as client services director. This is Laing’s second spell working for the company, having spent 12 years there, latterly based in London acting as associate director.

Meanwhile, BD Network has unveiled a new brand identity tied into the positioning ‘This is BD. The brand refresh aims to focus the image of the agency upon those who work within it, using a multitude of logos each designed by its staff. As result 200 different creative interpretations have been created of what it means to work at BD across both its Glasgow and London offices.
