Drayton Manor Theme Park is launching a new TV ad, created by PSAFilms, to publicise recently-launched attraction Thomas Land. Watch it he

Manchester-based PSA Films has created the new ad to promote the attraction, which is based on the Thomas and Friends children’s television series.

The ad airs on terrestrial channels in the Midlands from this month and digital entertainment and children's channels throughout the summer and autumn. Airtime is at its peak now as children break up for their school holidays.

The ad complements Drayton Manor’s existing campaign which incorporates print, broadcast, digital media and a national PR strategy.

Colin Bryan, managing director for Drayton Manor Theme Park, said: "We are delighted to be strengthening our marketing campaign for Thomas Land and the wider theme park with a brand new TV advert.

“The advert showcases perfectly exactly what we have to offer to guests of all ages and we hope it will encourage more families to pay us a visit.”

PSAFilms director Ben Swift explained that the film production company had to work closely with Thomas and Friends’ brand owners HIT Entertainment to produce the ad.

He said: "HIT is very careful about how it presents the brands it manages so there's a lot of careful deliberation to ensure that it's absolutely right. We had to look for lots of alternatives to find a result that both parties were absolutely happy with."
