Family has announced that it has promoted Michael Fraser, head of design to its board.

The decision was unanimously agreed by the board of the Edinburgh advertising agency.

Ian Wright, managing director of Family, said; “This is a further demonstration of our intent to place creativity at the top of our agenda. This promotion also recognises the unique talents that Michael has and why he is probably the most awarded designer in Scotland.”

Fraser commented on the appointment; “I'm delighted to be joining the Board at family. Since joining the agency two years ago I can fully appreciate the value it places on design and the unfair advantage a truly integrated agency can give our clients.'

Most recently Fraser has been involved in producing the rebrand of Lauder College to Carnegie College, work for Martin & Frost and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, the launch identity for www.carbonaccountable.com and the national launch of Homecoming Scotland.
