Manchester-based Momentum has appointed Sarah Cheal as its head of new business, replacing Keira Lloyd who left the firm earlier this year to join TBWA\Manchester.

Cheal was formerly a business development manager at TBWA\Manchester, covering below-the-line and digital, although more recently she headed up new business at The Foundry in Altrincham.

Momentum, which has a current client list that includes the likes of Boots, Bernard Matthews, Coca-Cola, Nestlé and Microsoft, has tasked Cheal with driving growth and leading its marketing and PR activity.

Cheal enjoyed a successful stint at The Foundry, in which time the agency won Bulmers’ digital account along with briefs for Owen Mumford and Enco.

Momentum MD Paul Watson, said: “Sarah brings experience, enthusiasm and determination to an already successful new business team.”
