Highland Spring
Highland Spring has created a robust seasonal campaign using strong action shots of Andy and Jamie Murray. An association with summer and relating the product with Scotland’s tennis hopes is smart. Perhaps the Highland Spring brand could have been more prominently featured.
Union Direct
VisitScotland direct mail pack
VisitScotland have created a beautiful direct mail pack using glorious shots of Scotland. The letters inside remind the reader of the many reasons they should return to Scotland. It might be an idea to promote the significant competition prize on the envelopes; I feel that this particular incentive could be further exploited and may well result in more customers opening the package.

Stv bingo ads
These TV adverts are bright, zany and colourful with a throw away feel to them. I feel they are incredibly similar to most other bingo adverts I’ve seen and therefore are perfect for the target market.
Heehaw
Edinburgh Comedy estival programme
With a multitude of events in four venues to sell, putting a programme of this size together has to be a careful balance of style and functionality. At first it’s difficult to know where to start but the clear index in the middle pages and the colourful features provide a sensible mix of easy search ability and eye catching adverts.

Lloyds TSB Scotland ads
I appreciate the simplicity of the images used in these adverts. The repetition of the message of being there for their customers, locally, conveys the bank’s Scottish roots. Taking this straightforward idea and transferring it to their Tri Series cricket sponsorship works well.

Jerzees www.feeloriginal.com
This one was the hardest to assess, as I was initially confused about what I was being sold. When I realised the product was a range of sweatshirts, I felt that this mini site was overly complicated. The personification of sweatshirts as glove puppets left me cold.
