Travel guide company Lonely Planet, in association with the University of Glasgow, has produced a guide for prospective students from around the world who are interested in studying at the University.

‘Study Glasgow’ highlights all that Scotland’s largest city has to offer enabling those who are considering undertaking a course at the University to get a taste of what the city is like to live in.

James Bainbridge, author of the Lonely Planet publication said he was “blown away” by how much the city had changed since he graduated in 1998.

“Of course, everyone has pride in the university they went to, but I really can’t think of anywhere I would’ve rather gone,” said Bainbridge.

The custom print 48-page guidebook will have an initial run of 120,000 copies and will be distributed to thousands of prospective students around the globe, starting at the University of Glasgow’s Open Day.
