Vladivar's new 'pure' bottle has been released, created by Glasgow design agency Freight.

The new design uses ‘clean lines’ and ‘translucent blues’ aimed at producing a crisp and refreshing look. The inspiration for the label was taken from the original Vladivar branding and sees the return of the Romanov eagle crest and the distinctive ultramarine Vladivar blue, giving the brand heritage and provenance.

An above the line campaign created by The Bridge, Freight's advertising sister agency, is expected to roll out in the next few weeks to promote the new look.

The client's inhouse design team was also involved in the bottle's design process.

Nick Gaskin, UK marketing director for Whyte & Mackay commented: “We have researched the new design within our target consumer and the results are overwhelming. The cool blue has broad appeal to both men and women and communicates to customers that Vladivar is a stylish product. The distinctive design is reflective of the quality triple distilled liquid contained, whilst still giving it differentiation from our competitors.”

He continued: “The refreshing new design is just tip of the iceberg in relation to the exciting plans we have to come for Vladivar, including a heavyweight above the line campaign, new media and eye-catching POS over the summer months to push Vladivar to the forefront of consumer minds.”
