Photography agent Ian Potter, who left the Moretti Agency in early April, has joined the Miss Jones Agency in Edinburgh, which was founded by Catharine Jones, who also once worked with Moretti.

He joins the firm as Jones prepares to go on maternity leave.

“I was looking for someone to look after the agency during this period,” she said. “It seemed a good idea for Ian to come on board not only to look after things day-to-day, but in particular to help expand the business”.

Part of his remit will be to raise the agency profile, bring in new talent and forge new client relationships.

Miss Jones will be looking to further expand its reach both within Scotland and beyond, looking at new markets in the UK, Europe and the emerging territories of India and the Middle East.
