Feather Brooksbank has appointed Andy Niblett to the role of director of trading, a position which will also see him take up a seat on the board.

Niblett joined the agency two years ago, when he made the journey North from Feather Brooksbank’s sister agency Vizeum.

He was initially brought in to head up the TV team and more recently expanding his role to head of Broadcast to incorporate radio and cinema.

In his new, Niblett will be leading the media teams across the agency’s offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester to focus on delivering the most effective, innovative and best value media solutions. A key part of his trading role will be working with his peers across the rest of the Aegis group.

Commenting on his appointment Niblett said; “the specialist media teams have made a huge difference to our business over the last couple of years & I'm delighted to have the opportunity to focus on the challenge of really integrating our offering in an area that is going to be crucial to the agencies success in the coming years”.

The role was previously held by Stuart Bell who moved South in February to head up the Manchester Office, Andy’s appointment will enable Stuart to focus on growing Feather Brooksbank’s business in Manchester.

Stuart Feather, managing director of Feather Brooksbank, said: “Andy has made a great contribution to our business since joining and has really advanced our broadcast offering, his new role will give him the opportunity to do the same across the other media and deliver real media integration from a trading perspective. Stuart Bell has developed our trading significantly since taking on the role 2 years ago, but we have a huge opportunity in Manchester and Stuart will now be able to focus on driving the business there.”
