Creative agency Driven arranged for a 'streaker' to sprint the home stretch of the Greater Manchester Run to promote MOSI's Body Worlds 4 exhibition.

The unique collection of real human bodies, plastinated by Dr. Gunther von Hagen, is scheduled to leave Manchester on 29 June, but Driven has been appointed to attract further visitors in the city.

The first work for the exhibition has seen Driven hire one of the world's top body painters, Susana Mota, to replicate the skinless body look of a plastinated specimen on a living person.

As well as appearing in various bars and clubs in Manchester on Saturday night, "The Body Worlds Streaker" attended the Greater Manchester Run on Sunday, jumping the barriers on the home straight and racing to the finish line while being chased by stewards.

The escapade was filmed by Manchester's Chief TV and will form part of a viral marketing campaign.

Peter Clenshaw, Body Worlds 4 exhibition director, said: “When Driven pitched this idea and illustrated the authentic effect that could be created with body paint, we saw a great way to take the exhibition to a new audience on the streets. The Great Manchester Run was a relevant platform to showcase the benefits of a healthy lifestyle which is the key message of the Body Worlds exhibition.
