A new website aiming to cut through climate change confusion
MagneticNorth has worked with BBC Vision Multiplatform Productions to launch Bloom – a new website aiming to cut through climate change confusion and encourage people to adapt more climate-friendly lifestyles.
The agency say that many Britons are suffering ‘eco-fatigue’ and feel overwhelmed by the amount of conflicting information about climate issues. The BBC wanted a ‘playful and fresh’ new approach to the challenge with Bloom. Award-winning digital designer and artist Daniel Brown developed the site’s interactive features.
MagneticNorth’s Brendan Dawes said: “Rightly or wrongly we live in an image conscious world where people are passionate about how things look. With Bloom we’ve tapped into that to help deliver an immersive experience about a really important issue.”
