Birmingham-based Unsuitable has been appointed by celebrity hairdresser Lisa Shepherd's salon chain to create a new brand identity.

Known as ‘The Hair Colour Doctor’, Shepherd is about to hit TV screens on Ten Years Younger. The new brand identity will roll out across her existing salons in the Midlands, with a London outlet planned in the near future.

In other news, the agency has been appointed to create a new identity, advertising and website for The National Association of Music and Dance Schools.

The organisation has nine leading schools in music and dance, including The Royal Ballet School. Unsuitable scooped the business after a competitive four-way pitch and its work will see the organisation re-branded as MADE, which stands for Music & Dance Excellence.

Unsuitable designer Natalie Jones, said: "The nine schools are respected leaders in music and dance and we set out to capture their energy, vibrancy and youthfulness. Working closely with the schools, we've created a bold new identity and we're looking forward to rolling it out over the coming months."

In addition, Unsuitable’s sister digital agency, One Black Bear, has landed the new website for MADE.
