Magnetic North has worked with the BBC to launch Bloom, a new website aiming to encourage people to adapt to more climate-friendly lifestyles.

The agency say that many Britons are suffering ‘eco-fatigue’ and feel overwhelmed by the amount of conflicting information about climate issues. The BBC wanted a ‘playful and fresh’ new approach to the challenge with Bloom.

Magnetic North appointed award-winning digital designer and artist Daniel Brown to create interactive features for the site which are aimed at encouraging dialogue with its users. Creative director, Brendan Dawes, said: "With Bloom we've turned what can easily be pretty dull information into an engaging, fun experience that still gives you all the facts you could ever need, to help you make informed choices to combat climate change. “Rightly or wrongly we live in an image conscious world where people are passionate about how things look. With Bloom we've tapped into that to help deliver an immersive experience about a really important issue." Click here to check out the newly-launched Bloom site.
