Nevis finishes legal overhaul

Morisons Solicitors has completed an ambitious repositioning and rebranding project working with Nevis Design Consultants and brand alignment specialists Brand Vista.

Brand Vista initially worked closely with senior management at Morisons LLP to complete a strategic review of the firm.

David Huckell, design director at Nevis commented: “The signature M is the cornerstone of the new identity and is used as a catalyst for straight talking language throughout the collateral, which encompasses the full range of applications from printed literature, digital communications and environments.”

Distinctiveness was another desired effect, and the choice of regal purple helps achieve this, along with an a-t-l advertising campaign created with art director and copywriter Will Atkinson.

Based on the line ‘Real Partners’ taken from the distilled results of the strategic review, a series of press and banner ads were created alluding to this relationship: Needle and thread, salt and pepper and fish and chips.

The brand has been launched over a series of events in Edinburgh and Glasgow, including the staff internal launch that was held at stylish nightclub Lulu.

Louise Freedman, marketing manager of Morisons commented: “We believe our new outward face will really stand out from the crowd but we know that the power of the brand is built from within.”
