Former Faulds director to join STV from The Union
John MacDougall, account director at the Union and former director of Faulds, is to join STV later in the year as client services director.
MacDougall will complete his three months notice at his current employer before moving to STV in May.
MacDougall joined The Union around two years ago after leaving Scottish & Newcastle.
Ian McAteer, group chairman of The Union, wished MacDougall well in his new role at STV, and confirmed that the agency had already begun its search for a replacement in his role.
David Connolly, commercial director of STV, said: “One of the key objectives for STV in 2008 is to strengthen our relationships with our advertisers. John brings a new dimension to our current team with his account management experience and long term involvement in the creative process.”
