The first online Braille writing application, which allows people to send ‘secret’ messages, has been created by Glasgow-based Yomego to support Royal Blind’s National Braille Week.

Visitors to www.nationalbrailleweek.org will be able to send an e-card with their messages rendered into a Braille image. The recipients will then follow a link back to the Royal Blind site to decode the message.

The campaign supports the 200th anniversary of the birth of Louis Braille.
