Moom, a digital marketing agency specialising in viral marketing campaigns and web branding, has launched in central Manchester.

The agency is headed up by Russell Hirst, who - after a decade of working in e-commerce - formed the creative agency after selling the majority stake in his biggest online business – Valueflora.com.

The new agency’s arrival punctuates a relatively quiet period of start-up activity in the city, and Hirst has been outlining the agency’s mantra for prospective clients.

"We work with you to maximise your online potential - from ensuring your website is user friendly right through to creating digital campaigns - and all of the other bits and bobs in between," said Hirst in the agency's opening gambit launch statement.

Hirst said the new agency has secured “a number of clients” and Moom’s first major contract will be a website launch early in the New Year.
