Birmingham-based advertising and PR agency Rave has secured the PR account for UK children’s car seat manufacturer Britax, after a competitive three-way pitch.

Rave will be responsible for delivering Britax’s consumer and B2B PR on a retained basis from January 2008.

The campaign’s key objectives will be maintaining and improving Britax’s reputation within the industry, increasing the company’s profile across mainstream and lifestyle media and developing launches for a number of new product enhancements.

Rave’s win consolidates the agency’s consumer PR position, having picked up four accounts in the sector in the last two months, including campaigns for Purity Brewery and travel operator Centro.
