Jean-Philippe Glaskie is stepping down from his role as managing director of babywear company The Dalya Group, to take over as joint managing director of Hale-based marketing communications consultancy Peppermint PR. The move follows a management buyout at Dalya, and Peppermint PR are optimistic that the company’s business profile will expand with Glaskie joining the team, whom they believe is one of the North West\'s leading young business figures.

"In my new role as joint managing director of Peppermint PR, I\'ll be putting into place a significant expansion programme that will build on its rapid rise and firmly establish the company as one of the region\'s most respected consultancies," said Glaskie, announcing the planned enlargement of the company.

Peppermint has provided not-for-profit support to breast cancer prevention charity, The Genesis Appeal, since its inception.

Glaskie introduced a range of new divisions at Dalya, including the Kidology division of children\'s accessories, and a dedicated Contract Division for private label work.

The Trafford Park-based company will now be headed by joint managing

directors, Darrell Webster and Iain McAllister, who have purchased an initial equity stake in the business.

Glaskie wished his former colleagues and company well as he takes over at Peppermint.

"The Dalya Group is now under the management of two highly competent colleagues who, I have no doubt, will consolidate its position as supplier of choice to the country\'s leading multiples," he said.
