Dog Digital has been appointed to design, develop and build a new website for software builders IES.

The new site will be used as a sales and marketing tool for the software developer with the aim of communicating the company's offering to customers including software, training, consultancy and support.

Gerry McCusker, joint managing director of Dog Digital, commented: "IES required a website that reflected the current brand identity and engaged with a very difficult target market through mini movies and other various features. They have recognized the as important in being able to draw in the customer as quickly as possible. This is vital to the website design as web users become more fickle and demanding if you don't get the web design right, as your nearest competitor is only a click away."

The site also uses geo tracking by identifying country specific URL's to send visitors to a version of the home page depending on where they have come from, allowing country specific content to be published through out the site, making it more relevant to users and also improving the SEO rankings.
