A new free local magazine is set to roll out across Milngavie and Bearsden.

The monthly magazine, Community Soup, will be available from 30 November, although distribution will begin the week after.

Community Soup will have a reach of 85 percent of all homes in its areas, with over 18,000 copies being delivered free to homes and a further 2,000 free to pick up in shops, libraries, sports centers and public areas.

The magazine will be home delivered throughout its target locations and will contain separate editorial for each area, with advertising running across both issues.

The magazine will be published by Community Soup Limited, owned by Nicola Young, former regional director of Trinity Mirror Scotland and Kirstin Morrison, former marketing director of The Daily Record.
