Cicero is no more after Gyro International completed its re-brand of the B2B agency following its acquisition in March.

After a seven-month integration process Cicero’s Manchester operation will now come under the Gyro stable. Gyro were said to be impressed with Cicero’s offices at Salford Quays – the future home of the BBC and burgeoning media hub.

Gyro CEO, Gary Brine, said: “Gyro has aggressive targets for our Manchester operation in terms of bottom line and profit margins – we’re targeting 40 per cent growth next year, and with the team we have in place, this is a wholly achievable goal.”

This sentiment was echoed by Danny Turnbull, previously managing director of Cicero and now general manager of Gyro in Manchester: “Our intensive but gradual integration has created a fully operational Gyro business in all but name. We do expect our business to take a quantum leap forward however, now that we are formally a network business.”

The agency was recently appointed to handle by the American Chemical Society.
