blackburn hires creative lynx

Blackburn is to be rebranded by Manchester-based marketing agency Creative Lynx.

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council has secured £150million partnership investment, which promises to deliver a significant physical development for the Lancashire town. The funding has already produced a major public realm improvement programme, a new £25million leisure park and the restoration of many of the town's historic buildings. A £66million redevelopment of the Mall shopping centre is also underway.

Funding for the rebranding project comes from the North West Development Agency.
