The Drum believes that Feather Brooksbank and incumbent Mediacom will go head-to-head in the final stage of pitching for the Scottish Government's ?68m media pitch.

The final stage of pitching, which begins today, was thought to have previously included three agencies, with Mediavision being the third.

However, it appears that Mediavision was recently informed by The Government that it was no longer on the list, leaving the final two Edinburgh-based media agencies to fight it out.

A final decision between the two is now expected in early December.

The original pitch list included six agencies with BZO, Spirit Media and a joint pitch by Barkers and Zenith Optimedia.

In August the pitch for the three-year account - overseen by Roger Williams, marketing director at The Scottish Government - was delayed, with the original announcement expected in September. The delay was put down to 'the pressures of work' by a Government spokesperson.
