Health food retailer Holland & Barrett is launching a cheeky new TV ad campaign to promote its half price event.

Produced by Newcastle-based Guerilla, the 10 and 30 second campaign shows people in such a rush to get to the stores that they arrive in their pyjamas. The commercial ends with one man being so eager that he has forgotten to wear anything.

Guerilla producer Kaja Amundsen said: “The television campaign is very tongue-in-cheek and energetic, it really captures the scale of the event, but in a fun and colourful way.

“For some time we have seen agencies taking the safe option and creating bland TV commercials that are missing a strong idea.”

Holland & Barrett¹s director of marketing, Phil Geary, explained: “The point of this creative treatment is to get across the scale of the event in terms of the 700 lines that are in the promotion.”
