Disney Store appoints Lucre for Christmas PR

Disney Store Europe has tasked Leeds-based Lucre Communications to support the PR for the launch of its new festive campaign.

The ‘Experience the Magic’ campaign includes instore and online marketing to showcase the all-new Christmas range in Disney Store outlets.

Lucre’s team, working closely with The Disney Store in-house marcoms department, will also be involved in Disney Store\'s pan-European PR strategy, helping to select consultancies in France, Spain and Italy and acting as the European hub.

Joanne Webb, marketing director for Disney Store Europe said: “As Christmas draws nearer we wanted to ensure maximum awareness of our Experience the Magic campaign.”

Disney Store also plans to roll-out new ‘concept stores’ globally. A number of new and existing stores across Europe will adopt the new technology and innovation-based design. Lucre is understood to have been tasked with helping promote the new concept with PR support.
