Morphy Richards, the household appliances brand, has confirmed the appointment of Manchester-based agency BJL onto its marcoms roster.

BJL will work alongside Sheffield-based Ãœber, which has worked on the account for the last three years, after winning a competitive pitch.

BJL replaces BDH\\TBWA, now TBWA\\Manchester, which is thought to have resigned the account three months ago, due to a conflict with haircare client ghd.

Phil Green, chief executive at Morphy Richards, said: “BJL and Ãœber bring different strengths to our business. We are confident that by tapping into both companies expertise we will deliver the best results for the brand.”

BDH held the account for a year, after replacing Big Communications after nine years of being the agency’s incumbent.

The full story will appear in the next issue of The Drum.
