Business Link launches new Midlands campaign

Business Link West Midlands is launching its first television advertisement, aiming to promote its business nurturing and guidance services.

Seal Communications has created and overseen the production of the 30 second commercial, being broadcast on ITV Central West Midlands across two weeks this month.

Produced by Birmingham-based SPH, the advert starts with a businessman having an initial idea, and follows through to him setting up the company and running it successfully having sought guidance from business link.

The organisation re-launched on a regional basis in April 2007 and provides information, support, mentoring and guidance for starting and growing a business.

Claire Deeley, managing director at Seal, said: “We chose to commission a West Midlands production company and use actors from the region so everything was focused on the area the organisation serves.

“The advert is designed to encourage start ups and established businesses to ‘think bigger’ with Business link and successfully covers a lot of ground and key messages in a clear and concise way.”
