Following on from reports in the last issue of The Drum that digital agency TH_NK may be hit by client Northern Rock’s current crisis, it is now believed that the Newcastle-based firm will be forced to make around “seven” redundancies as part of the fallout.

The agency initially denied that any job losses would occur as the client re-evaluates its marketing, although an industry insider has since informed The Drum that “seven people” have been told their jobs will go.

It has been a positive year for the agency, which has seen its team grow significantly.

No one at TH_NK was available to comment on the latest speculation as The Drum went to press.
