Manchester-based With is understood to have merged with events company Reflex Communications to form With Reflex Group (WRG).

With was founded in 1988 as Mainstream, an events-led company, but rebranded in 2004 as it took the decision to broaden its offering into marketing and design services. In 2006, the business underwent a restructure, which resulted in some senior redundancies, as it continued its move towards a more integrated offering.

At the time, the newly appointed managing director Karen Perry said: “Events is still at the heart of what we do, but we do have a strong through-the-line offering, which we hope to build going forward.”

Stuart Greaves, Chris Gosling, Nigel Bale and Carl Halliday will make up the senior partners in the new business, with Reflex’s Barry Day and Mark Wallace assuming the roles of managing director and CEO, respectively.

It is not yet clear whether Perry and With co-founder Rob Hodgson will remain in the business.
