Miller looks to earn her stripes

Stripe has announced the recruitment of associate director, Emma Miller and account director Nina Deakin.

Miller, formerly of Colman Getty Scotland, will lead the consumer lifestyle side of the PR business, having returned to Edinburgh after 10 years in London. Her experience in the style sector has seen Miller work with clients such as Max Factor, Olay, Clairol and London Fashion Week Sponsorship.

New wins for the company include boutique Jane Davidson, fashion website Black Essentials, Signature Pubs Limited and members club Home House.

Deakin joins from Weber Shandwick with a background in property having worked with clients such as Kenmore Homes and DTZ.

Juliet Simpson, managing director of Stripe, commented: “We are in a very fortunate position to have secured senior specialists in their fields and we are now building teams and business around their skills. We are confident that the team we now have in place will stand us in great stead for 2008 with the real focus on growing the business organically.”
